What We Do
STAG provides education, resources, and support designed to empower survivors, educate communities, and help prevent violence before it happens.
Community Outreach
We raise awareness and provide educational resources throughout Huntsville and surrounding areas to help prevent sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking.
Educational Events & Webinars
We promote in-person events and online webinars that share critical information about prevention, safety, consent, and survivor support.
Trauma Recovery Support
We offer monthly support groups that provide a safe space to learn healthy coping strategies and support long-term healing after trauma.
Education Is Prevention
Education plays a critical role in preventing violence and supporting survivors. Understanding consent, recognizing warning signs, and learning personal safety strategies help individuals make informed decisions and reduce risk. Equally important is knowing how to support survivors with compassion, patience, and respect.
At STAG, we provide clear, accessible information designed to raise awareness, encourage open conversations, and promote safer environments. Through education, we aim to break stigma, empower individuals, and strengthen communities—because prevention starts with knowledge.

Support Fuels Healing
Healing after trauma is not a one-size-fits-all process.
Every survivor’s journey looks different and deserves patience, understanding, and access to supportive resources. Having a safe space to learn, share, and connect can make a meaningful difference in long-term recovery.
STAG creates survivor-centered environments where individuals feel heard, respected, and supported. Through education, peer support, and community engagement, we help survivors build resilience, regain confidence, and move forward at their own pace.
